Appearance: Keisuke normally wears a dark blue beanie that covers his dyed pitch black hair. His hair reaches down to the base of his neck and he always has the bangs combed over the left eye. Both of his eyes are white as if he is blind, these are actually contacts. He wears a black jacket that has a white collar. His white shirt says ‘Fish or Die’ on the front of it. Keisuke commonly wears dark blue pants with black boots. He is always seen with a knife strapped just above his knee, there has been confusion as to whether the weapon is just a normal knife or if it’s another person, the knife is a normal one though. He also sometimes is seen carrying a blue banner that has the kanji symbol for Hope on the front of it. (picture in spoiler below)

Personality: Keisuke is a rather enigmatic person. He claims to have no emotions and this is well justified by his normally expressionless face. Keisuke is very commonly quite, and secretive, he has never told anyone his past, if he did that would be a large sign of trust. Keisuke is sometimes seen writing in a small leather bound book, though it is a journal no one knows what he has written in it. Keisuke enjoys solitude when he can get it, this brings up the question as to why he teaches at all.

History:Keisuke, sense he was a child, was always just naturally quite. Most of the children around his age called him ‘shady’ and often picked on him, normally about how he didn’t actually have any friends.

One day he simply just disappeared from the world at the age of 15. There were reports saying that he died of depression or in a car crash. But the simple truth is, he left his home town to go to Death City. He had heard rumors of several strong people there. But he believed that this city was a hoax, but on the off chance that it wasn’t he arranged some things so that he ‘died’.

Due to this though, his parents along with many others, think that he’s dead. This has forced him to change his appearance to what it is now. Whether Keisuke was dead or alive he would have fled to the desert to find Death City. Though, he could not prove its existence if he did find it due to his ‘death’. After walking for days in the desert with no food and little water, he came upon stairs that led to a large suspended city that seemed to be floating in the air. Thinking that he had died Keisuke climbed the stairs that he thought was leading to heaven or hell or where ever he was going.

After getting to the top of the stairs he collapsed onto the ground, fainted due to lack of food and dehydration. He soon woke up in the DWMA infirmary. No one was in it at the time he had woken, it was also night time and according to the clock on the wall it was 10:14 PM. Keisuke wondered where he was, so he got up out of the bed and began searching the darkened hallways of the building he knew nothing about. He soon came to a large black door with a somewhat comical skull on it. He had seen this skull symbol before, it was the symbol of Death of Death City, and this had only meant that he had found Death City itself!

Keisuke walked into the room, not scared by the guillotine blades that hung above his head as he walked through the unusually day timed room. When he got to the end of the room he saw what he assumed was dense black fog, in a strange shape. The tall figure turned around showing that it had the same mask as the one on the door. It was Death. Confused as to where he was he asked Death some questions about what he could. Most of it was pretty straight forward Q and A. After all of Keisuke’s questions were answer Death asked him a question. The question was if Keisuke would like to work in DWMA. Keisuke was hardly knowledgeable on anything in the way of what to teach a class, though that didn’t seem to stop Death from asking him two more times before reaper chopping him into saying yes.
Keisuke waited a year to study on everything he could about meisters and weapons, and everything else that students would need to know, before he actually started teaching, so he starting teaching at the age of 16.

After two years Keisuke started training himself to become one of the best meisters possible, he gave up teaching for three years in order for him to control his soul wavelength with ease, not to mention he developed a Soul Menace attack of his own. After returning to teach in DWMA he had not only become one of the best meisters, ready for any attack and prepared to be with any weapon partner when needed, Death told him that after taking such a long time off from teaching that he would have to start at the bottom again. After a year of teaching Keisuke is back to where he was when he left off, only now he is ready for anything that lays ahead for him.
