Appearance: Haru‘s appearance doesn’t exactly do her personality justice. Haru normally either wears a white or red dress (they’re the same dress, but in different colors). Both the dresses run down to below the knee and the right sides of the dresses are torn almost up to near the thigh, but hardly any of it can actually be seen. On her shoulder blade she has a noticeable red rose tattoo. Her hair is a dyed fiery red, though she’s a natural black-ish brown. Her eye color is brown.

Personality: Yumi (Haru to her friends) is Bipolar. Meaning that at one moment either be deeply depressed state or in a manic, frenzied, state. She normally hides this easily making herself appear confident and very smart. In truth she is 90% of the time deeply depressed, even when she seemed interested in something she hardly cares about it. Though she doesn't show it she loves certain types of Wagashi. One thing that Haru does hate though are people who think that she can't handle herself.

History: Haru was never one to start a conversation, even as a kid. She was normally the one in the back of class, never really saying anything or doing that wasn’t on her own agenda. Throughout her life she has never actually know who she really is. She left her home town into a desert that resided to the west of the town. Her hope was to kill herself. She was there for what felt like a week, but she didn’t die. While walking through the desert she found a stair case leading up to a floating city. She followed the stairs upwards finding Death City.

She had heard about the city but never expected it to be real. Haru though it was no more than a myth, but there she was standing right on the ground, that was floating above the actual ground, of Death City. Haru walked in Death City for a while before realizing that she had no money for anything. IT took Haru only a day to get enough money for food. She knew she couldn’t keep it up forever. At some point people were going to stop giving her change and just give her pathetic looks. She didn’t want to rely on anyone. So she had gotten into DWMA in the hopes of never needing anyone else’s help.

While she was in DWMA for a few years (14-18) she had learned that she was a weapon. Haru was a Jian (Chinese Straight-sword), in full weapon appearance. Unlike most weapons though her whole arm didn’t turn into the blade, she could control it so it could be anything from who whole arm into one blader or just her hand into the same blade. She also made a few friends while she was there. Nothing about her life or herself changed though, she knew that. The only about her that did change was the fact that she could now trans form into a sword, if she had ever found the right partner that is.
